The title : "How to Fix EVERY Map in Valorant" The actual video : doesnt adress how to fix the maps at all

I feel like a map ban system like the one rainbow has would be fantastic, because there would be a selection of maps and both teams just ban enough maps for there to be three maps left (rainbow always only has a selection of five maps, even tho there are more maps in the comp map pool, so both teams just ban one map). And after that it's random between the remaining maps. This would counter the "only playing on Ascent" thing, but you would have the chance to ban your least favorite map from the selection. I think that is a perfect system for a ranked perspective.

You know what i hate, ascent in pro matches because its always a mirror matchup, it gets boring to watch
  • yesterday me and my boys dodge breeze 7times even 4times in a row and today 4times
  • @daelraelra2289
Worst map pool ever, breeze is just cancer. I Hope someday they will add all maps in unrated and you can decide on which map to play. Like I learn bind lineup and then I freaking play sunset for 3 game this is bad for training as well… let Players decide what to play… moreover i think they forget this game is a 5v5 map have to be small and dynamic like bind, since gameplay is fast. But map Like breeze are too big and have too many angles it feels like a map for a 7v7 slow and strategic and this is frustating. Maybe more modes? Like 2v2 on micro map with one site and 7v7 on big map like breeze? This would open a new world of possibilities

Hot take: none of the maps are bad. People just hate maps that don't fit their specific playstyle, which is subjective between players. I personally love Split because I know how to use Fade, KAY/O, or Skye to clear corners and Omen and Viper if my team needs smokes and I do just fine, but most people don't even bother and try to pick someone like Iso and wonder why they're getting stomped on. I also think Breeze is difficult to play because most people don't play controllers, a crucial role for the map, and some people just don't want to give comms for whatever reason, meaning no info for a map that needs instant feedback. My best advice is to learn as many agents as you can and figure out which agent works best with each map so you're not simply giving up or dodging the moment you see a map you're not a fan of. Don't play what's more "fun." Play what works and what the team needs.

breeze needs an actual rework. i have never seen anyone say that they like that map and the only ones that I've seen defend it are "aim supremacists" who really are just op-inflated elos. the sight lines are so long that SMGs and shotgun buys are essentially trolling as those guns provide very little value wherever you play in the map. not to mention sova and viper are essential to properly play the map and not picking either would also be considered trolling

Of all the maps people hate 1.Breeze 2.icebox they need gone out of the rotation forever. Every that likes this agrees.
  • Favorite map is icebox, because you dont have to commit to any site, its never too late to rotate. Breeze is my least favourite because its too long range so you have to have jett with op or you lose. Bind is also one of my least favourites because you need to deal with weird cypher cams, weird sage walls, weird angles.
  • Your channel has a great sense of community. It's wonderful to see people engaging in meaningful discussions.
  • @crevail
The map pool is in the worst state it's ever been; it's hard to grind ranked when the maps I love are all canned and the maps I hate I'm getting back to back to back.

maps I like best to worst is 1. haven 2. split 3. sunset 4. lotus 5. fracture 6. ascent 7. pearl 8. bind 9. breeze 10. icebox good maps in my opinion is a map where various decision is possible. for example, if you take mid control on ascent, you can decide whether to go A short, market, or ct spawn. breeze offers a lot of decisions, but kind of limits the decisions at the same time. If your team have viper or harbor, going A site is easier than B site. clearing piramids is easier than clearing B backsite. mid to A is easier than mid to B, and you have hall to lurk into A site. the map is kind of forcing you to go A.
  • @moadsnake104
it should work like in siege. Both teams are presented with 5 maps and can ban one each. The map is randomly selected from the 3 remainders.
  • @Brosephv
Favourite map is bind, least favourite is split. I dont like how close quarters and defender sided split is. There's always a chance theres some rat lurking in a corner with a judge. I think what makes a bad map fundamentally is that it's too one sided, like split or the opposite, lotus. And if you have a bad half on the side youre supposed to dominate it just feels like the game is impossible to come back. That being said, ascent is the most one sided map in the game so I find it weird that a lot of people like it, I don't dislike it either but I can't really say why. As for breeze, it could use a rework but also small changes would make it a lot better too, like some more cover on B to push out behind. And a way to push up mid without getting op'd, maybe make tube curved so it's not just another long sightline. That being said breeze is my highest winrate map by far cause yoru is so good on it with all the open space for flashes and long tp's you can pull off and getting on site easily. Finally for the idea of a map selection, I dont want it, it'll become like CS where you just play mirage over and over. I also dont like the map pool system in general though, just let us play all the maps and limit them for pro play only. Their thought process is, it's too much for new players to learn. But then they take it out of unrated and swiftplay game modes, so how are they supposed to learn the maps before they come back?
  • @ih21180
Ascent is a favorite because I've played it so much. Every time I've come back to the game it has been in rotation and the fact that you can practice B site in the range makes it really nice for learning common angles and I hope they expand to other sections of other maps in the future. If I had more game knowledge on other maps, I'm sure my opinions could be less biased and I might come to like a different map more
  • @AdamHutch124
I personally just really appreciate lotus. its a beautiful map and has so many different ways to interact
  • @DaTmaTOX
My fav map is peral cuz i love the feel of the map and im a yoru main so… also mid is really nice, the only thing maybe needs a rework is A site but im not sure
