She was at HOME. She wasn't running across the street or doing something stupid that could put herself in danger. She was just minding her business in a place where she should have been safe. Reminds me of the case a few years ago of a car crashing into someone's house, killing two sisters who were sitting on the couch watching TV. That driver was also under the influence. I hate this world.

Horrible. I hope they get her therapy sessions as she heals, she’s so young this could develop into a crippling phobia because she was in a place where she felt SAFE when it happened.

It is a MIRACLE she wasn't killed. She literally walks directly to the spot he would crash into at literally the same second he hit that spot. Wow.

Make him pay every cent of that baby's medical bills, the home repair bills, then a pain and suffering settlement to her and her family. When he does all of that, then throw him under the jail.

Holy mother I can't believe she survived this. She's definitely here for a reason. That moment of impact looks brutal! I'm so glad she's alive.

I’m glad she will physically heal. The psychological trauma from this is going to be difficult. I hope they have plans to help her through it.
