2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Scooby-Doo franchise, but it took them over forty years to make the best series.

This video goes over why 'Mystery Incorporated' is greater than 'Where Are You' and all the rest in kid-friendly gory detail.

Obligatory SPOILER WARNING for a show that came out in 2010.

  • Imagine someone who's never watched the series seeing this video and finding out there's a character named Hotdog Water

mystery inc was everything riverdale wants to be

broo this series is SOOO slept on and underrated. some people are like "you watch kids shows?? pfft" scooby doo mystery inc has such a good plotline and character development, to the point its not repitive or boring ive watched each episode around 20 times

Tbh I was very disappointed by the fact that Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated never got a third season

I really don't get why people dislike the more serious take on scooby doo. One of the reasons I loved zombie island was that it was dark yet still felt like a scooby doo movie. Same with mystery incorporated.

I actually really liked Velma in this; she has her problematic traits like trying to “fix” Shaggy, but I think that’s part of just being a complex character - people DO have flaws, and make mistakes. She’s a teen who’s still trying to understand her emotions, and she grows as a person and becomes kinder as the series goes on.

“Most unlikeable iteration of Velma,” I sure wish it stayed that way.
  • Over the years, Daphne Blake became better at protecting herself and developed combat skills to fight the bad guys. Sometimes she acted as the group's main muscle. Even so, Daphne Blake stayed true to her heart. She still loved fashion, romance and traditionally feminine pursuits. With Hollywood revamping many popular female characters, Daphne Blake becomes a dynamic character without losing what made her beloved in the first place.

Fred: has a hard time showing his emotions to Daphne and is completely clueless we're just friends! Daphne: Goes with another guy Fred: WHAT ARE YOU DOING-
  • i'm surprised nobody is talking about the music in this show. I found all of the instrumentals to be amazing and really helped sell the mystery aspect and creepy vibes. Also Mr. E's keyboard guitar song is awesome.
  • The ironic thing is that the Mayor was a better parent to Fred than his actual parents
  • @GeminiRosche
It’s so weird to realize that the Freak of Crystal Cove was the best parent in this show in the long run.

I loved Velma’s development in this show. She went from kind of an asshole who had an ego far too big, became a humble, loyal friend who accepted that it was okay to ask for help.
  • The fact the entire Hannah Barbera cartoon cast makes an appearance for one episode, makes this show unforgettable.

This is my absolute favorite Scooby-Doo incarnation. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite shows in general. It’s just so well-done, and it did the all the things I really wanted to see in the other series: gave the show a serial format with an ongoing story arc, actually gave the gang backstories, fleshed out everyone’s characters, and took a more tongue-in-cheek approach to the humor. I love how self-aware and intelligent the series is. They didn’t try to appeal just to children. And I might be in the minority here, but I even love the art style. It pays homage to the original animation, while also putting its own fresh, somewhat edgy spin on it. I really can’t say enough good things about this series. It’s a love letter to all the lifelong Scooby-Doo fans, like myself and countless others.

I cant believe you called him Fred's Dad and not Mayor Dad
  • While Mystery Incorporated is great, let the record show that the theme song for What's New, Scooby Doo? totally slaps
  • I LOOOOVE Velma in Mystery inc. She is just so diffrent from all the other characters. She is my fav for sure
