    Really surprised you didn't mention a shovel for recovery gear. At a bare minimum, I think people should carry a set of traction boards and a round-point shovel. That and lowering tire pressure can get you out of some pretty sticky situations. I mostly travel alone and if you do that, I also think a winch becomes a high priority for self recovery. Pair that with a Pul Pall land anchor and you are covered for a ton of situations you might encounter if there's nothing to attach your winchline to.

    3:15 This is the first video I've ever seen from this channel, and it is also the last. There is no way I could ever trust the advice from someone who claims you need SEVEN GALLONS OF WATER per day per person. You are either clueless, or (more likely) desperate to sell gear. This is a commercial, not the independent advice it's pretending to be. I see too many commercials as it is. Adios.
