Marina Baie des Anges is an architecturally interesting place to visit, with 4 massive blocks of apartments, up to 70 meters high. They are built in a unique pyramidal shape and look out over the Baie des Anges in Villeneuve Loubet, between Cannes and Nice. They surround the beautiful marina full of boats and yachts. Especially at night, the view is stunning.
The construction of Marina Baie des Anges began in 1968 and spanned almost 25 years. The buildings took up position on the seafront instead of a vast wasteland used as a camping area at the time with the idea of transforming it into a very private luxury real estate complex. The marina has many boutique shops and restaurants.The direct surroundings of Marina Baie des Anges are in no way comparable to those of Cannes, Nice or Antibes, but do provide a tranquility loved by residents. The Marina is also right next to a lovely very long stretch of beach lined with restaurants. During the summer it is busy with activities and all sorts of fun water rides available.
Villeneuve-Loubet is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in south eastern France. It lies between Cagnes-sur-Mer and Antibes, at the mouth of the river Loup, ten kilometers west of central Nice.
It was created by the joining two old villages: the old village of Villeneuve inland and the village of Loubet on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
