I work in north Loveland and have been watching all of the planes come in and out of the loveland airport. I live in north Berthoud and the evacuations are about 7 miles from me. Very Scary; praying they get it under control soon. But the wind is picking up and it does not make me comfortable.

How was this fire started? I will pray for all fire fighters, residents of the area and families of the ones that live up there. Very hot here today and with wind, this very bad. Our beautiful Colorado! 😢😢
  • Where can I find a map of the fire. The news show plumes of smoke but that doesn’t help people who have homes in the fire area. It’s great that the expert reporters can identify plumes of smoke. I appreciate their expertise.
  • Its beyond belief how much fuel is laying in wait in the Colorado mountains? You can't hike w/o wondering who's next?

My family lives in an area that has a high risk for these devastating fires. Right now the fire is 50 miles from them. 🔥🔥🔥 everyone at risk should know there are fire retardants that can cover your home and your land to keep the fire at Bay. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

I used to live in the big Thompson canyon by drake, there were always natural disasters there quite often, plus other dangers. It’s a wild place to live. I miss it nonetheless
