The second to last day of session and was key for several bills to still stay alive. Bills that would overhaul the state’s disturbing school’s law, prohibit drones flying over prisons and military bases, a bill outlawing cigarette butt litter and utility bills prospectively repealing the Base Load Review Act and creating a utility consumer advocate are several that are still alive, but need critical moves on Thursday—before 5 p.m. to become law.

Senate lawmakers finally debate legislation House members have been waiting to see all session—the repeal of the BLRA and the creation of a consumer advocate—both bills have been in the Senate since February and January, respectively.
