"People assume that when you have money, you have no problems" This.

It enrages me how they hurried him to answer. If you’ve ever been abused you know the pain that comes when words like that coming out of your mouth it’s so painful. The vain pop, you can tell he has so much anger towards them. I feel for them. The confusion they lived, the shame. They themselves thinking they were gay because of what was done to them, the confusion, I can’t imagine.

How cruel life can be for some people. A lifetime of abuse, and then the rest of what’s left of that life spent in prison. Wrong on so many levels. Surely this case must be reopened
  • How weird and cruel does a parent have to be to sexually assault their child
  • everyone is talking about how attractive they are for some reason but can we talk about the trauma they went through? Like this is so sad

i’m so sick of people judging them and blaming them for killing their parents despite knowing about the abuse they suffered from when all they ever wanted was freedom
  • 1:26 The way she mockingly said that… made my blood boil. Just the humanity in her. There were none. These prosecutors needs to put humanity over their careers. The jury chose to help the abusers rather than the victims.

Parents : tortures kids Kids : fights back Court : wait that's illegal
  • Nah what they did to their parents was horrible but not evil. What their parents did to those boys WAS evil.

They killed a monster. You can see the deep pain when they describe the cruel situations. I don't understand why the trial needs details when it's obviously heartbreaking for them to mention it.
  • The fact he told his cousin when they were ten makes me believe their story. The cousin is a very successful man and could lose everything for lying for them. It doesn't make sense, especially as they weren't close the older the brothers got. It just shows that they didn't fabricate this story to kill their parents for their money. Imo that is.

It’s so annoying how these people have more sympathy for the evil parents than the abused kids

Sexual child abuse is more common in all family demographics than anyone ever wants to admit. I have so many friends who have admitted to me that they were sexually abused as children or even teenagers, usually either by a family member or someone close to the family. And they've usually never told anyone in the family about what happened to them, but it still effects them to this day. And I can't blame them because I vividly remember a very good friend of mine in middle school finally telling another friend in our group that her father raped her, which was why she never wanted any of us to stay over at her house. She was always asking to come stay with any of us for the weekend and now I know why. Our friend then told her parents, and it all came out from there. My friend's parents were both arrested because her mom knew about it, and then she had to basically go into hiding because her father's family was claiming she was a liar and that her father would never do that to her and were literally threatening to come hurt her. A thirteen year old girl and their own family member. I saw all this happening myself so it's not something I was just told about. I feel for the Menendez brothers and anyone else who was abused so horrifically by people they should have been able to trust and never felt like they could tell anyone.

They’re not lying. That is fully unscripted, genuine pain flowing out of their faces.
  • @SARAHPRISCA
They don’t deserve their sentence but father deserved that early grave.
  • The fact that he had to admit it infront of every one it's heartbreaking and they are making them the villain when they clearly are the victims

What was the mother doing? It really boils my blood when one parent hides another parent’s bad deed for selfish reasons.Such parents who abuse their children should be publicly humiliated
