This actually reminds me of a story that recently has been making its way around YouTube Land. A roofing company, I believe it was in Oklahoma but don't quote me on that, started tearing an entire roof off an older couples home. It just so happened that the wife, who normally would have been home to stop them, decided to go with her husband on his work trip this time. The roof was almost completely removed by the time the boss showed up to let his crew know they got the wrong house. Two numbers in the address were inverted by someone at some point. The company finished removing the old roof, replaced it with a brand new, more energy efficient $30,000 roof, and informed the homeowners of the mistake. They not only got a new roof for free, but because of that roof, their homeowners insurance also dropped by several thousand dollars annually. They really got the long end of the stick in this case! 🙂😂🤣 Edit: multiple typos

Love the painting job story. Also-- he's fairly new to this and the ringing phone really threw him off but I like the way he incorporated his discomfort into the routine and riffed on it a bit. Excellent recovery!

His house story reminds me of the time I got home from work and my white House was painted brown. It was the weirdest thing. My neighbors didn’t see a thing.

Actually happened to my daughter's house. No one ever owned up to doing it. She lives on East * Avenue and there is a West * Avenue of the same number.

That house painting mistake.was pretty funny. Would have loved to see the owners faces when they came home. Would ya report it to the cops?? I could only imagine that 911 call!!

What a funny guy! In a lot of ways he reminds me of my favorite comedian Steven Wright. Great job. Years ago when much younger owned a painting business so the one about the wrong house was fantastic.

At 2:54 He missed an incredible segue between his story about painting the wrong house because he got the address wrong, and his Tonight Show story. He should have followed the house-painting anecdote with "Gee, I'll never make that mistake again. When anyone gives me an address anymore, I confirm it 3 times! Otherwise, I never would have successfully made it here... to the Tonight Show." And then used that to lead into his Tonight Show story.

This should be the safety brief before the flight takes off 😂
