Jamal started rescuing manatees when he was only 11 years old, after he asked some researchers if he could help them on their boat. Now, Jamal is all grown up and spends his days spotting manatees who need help, then rescuing them (sometimes with a helpful baby bottle!) so that they can live safely in the wild.
