Will Inflation Mean Holo Taco Increases Prices?

With exchange and shipping HT is already out of my price range, I haven’t been able to support the brand with a purchase but I follow along on the socials

Businesses do increase prices every year. Don't feel guilty or bad about doing it to keep your business profitable

I appreciated the email today and completely understand. Bravo.

I have seen almost every polish brand that I use go up in price.. its inevitable with how insane inflation is currently. It sucks, honestly but what can you do? You just need to do what you need to do, if prices are fairly raised and it helps to keep the brand up and running with quality polishes, thats what needs to be done. Much better than losing the brand due to bankruptcy! Imagining a world without Holo Taco.. its just depressing!

Personally, with the currency conversion, taxes and shipping, if the cost rises, I might not be able to buy HT anymore. But I’ll tune in when I can (not to much though so I won’t feel FOMO all the time)

You gotta do what you gotta do— this isn’t just profit for you, it’s sustaining the positions and great folks making Holo Taco happen. I just got an email from a beloved indie nail company increasing their prices and I’m not mad about it 🤷‍♀️

Prices have to go up a bit across the board to keep you guys able to make new polishes? I can support that. I rather give you my money has a huge global brand like Sally Hansen or similar. I love being able to know your process behind the collections you make. Getting to enjoy new launches together is nice. And honestly raising the free shipping threshold is likely a given with everything going on so its worth it. You just gave us a rewards program so now we are also getting something back for being loyal. Every company has to grow and evolve to keep alive and thriving. I hope prices don't like double but I can definitely support a small increase to all the types of polishes to keep all the formulas active at once.

I just got my second holo taco order and now I’m obsessed The cremes are amazing and the toppers, holo and unicorn skin, are just as good as I thought they’d be.

It’s totally worth it! Please don’t feel bad. We appreciate your transparency, and honestly your products are so good that you really shouldn’t feel bad for raising the prices a little bit more! Amazing quality!!!! ❤️🥰 (I’ll never wear any other brand of nail polish again lol!)

I got the E-Mail about price increases this week, and they really aren't that bad considering the quality of the product. Everything else I buy has gone up more than Holo Taco. I'm glad I bought my house last year with a fixed rate mortgage.

HT is already so expensive I worry the increase will edge me out of supporting 😫

Great products cost more 🤷‍♀️ I don’t think I could go back to a cheaper nail polish brand (or even other pricier brands tbh) It definitely sucks everything is increasing price wise but it’s not your fault, yall gotta do what you gotta do as business owners. If prices increase 1-2 dollars a bottle It wouldn’t push me to not purchase a great product. 🤗 keep being awesome!!

Everything is more expensive. It was bound to happen. The increase you did announce is reasonable. I di so live how transparent you are with everything. Most businesses just raise prices and that's it. You tell us in advance, sand the why in today's email. That moral and ethical attitude as well as your polish quality has drawn me. I'm still a relatively new customer...under 6 months but have a lot of polish all from you. Love you guys!

I’m shocked that holo taco prices only went up $1 😱 i think everyone has been expecting prices to rise. I’m shocked that the holo polishes aren’t $17. I don’t think any of us would throw too much of a fit because it’s a business and we all know how much prices have gone up in every facet of life.

If your order things that are AMAZING (your nail polishes) it’s gonna be expensive. I’d pay 50 buck for a flakie holo taco!!
