  • my father would always play this song in the car while we were driving. i used to call it “the longest song in the whole world”. i would say that line and he would play it. unfortunately, he died when i was nine years old. when he died my world was quite for a bit. but i’ve always found myself re-finding this song in different parts in my life when i need it most. i’m nineteen now, a whole decade later and i think he’s talking to me when i listen to it now. “someday you will find me, caught beneath the landslide in a champagne supernova in the sky” in some weird way, i think of this as some full circle moment, almost like he was preparing me , knowing i’d always have this song. i love you dad. thank you for always guiding me back to this song.

  • How can they manage to create don't look back in anger, wonderwall, and champagne supernova in one album? Their brain must've been exhausted

  • The fact that this is 7 minutes long and I don’t get bored for any second of it proves how much of a masterpiece this is

Oasis being nostalgic for the 60's making me nostalgic for the 90's.

I’ll be 18 in less than 20 minutes. I decided to end my childhood with this masterpiece. (10/05/22): I’ll be 19 in three hours. My first year of being an adult was hard; I didn’t think I’d make it, and frankly, I have a lot of work ahead of me. Yet, here I am. Alive. Thanks Oasis.

My children grew up listening to this masterpiece. Now in their 30's and we still sing it together... and always will
  • I believe that somewhere in the world, there are still people who feel the same emotions that I feel when listening to this timeless masterpiece.

The 1990s were heaven compared to today's world. We lived through it and very grateful we are. Let's pray for our children of today for a better future, with freedom and music of class, and a more wholesome sense of being

Always think of my late dad when I hear Oasis. Best 90s band ever.

Liam looks like a cross between John Lennon and Steve Jobs in this video.
