  • I like that you gave that inspection away for free because you were late. That's fantastic professionalism. Integrity and humility if i've ever seen it.
  • Great video Ben ! Much appreciated! Doing the report on site seems to be much more beneficial! Thanks

Enjoyed this video ! Thanks for the recommendation of pausing the video in the beginning šŸ˜Š
  • You are really good at getting this information across. I just submitted my Background check and fingerprints to my state board and got a call back that I can start taking my classes. Iā€™m still debating on what course to take, but thank you for making these videos Ben.

Appreciate your videos, Ben. I have a question. How did you do your wdo inspection? At the same time as the home inspection? Or afterwards? Iā€™ve dealt with inspectors who do both, but always made mistakes on the wdo because it was more of an afterthought for them. Thanks!

It's nuts when buyers are so desperate for inventory they waive inspections. Why throw half a million into a house, but not spend $500 for due diligence? That is a lot to ask a buyer. And headaches happen (for everyone) if the unexpected happens? There is a reason people use inspectors.

Can you do also inspect small commercial buildings? I figure with both Residential and Commercial under your belt you can have more business

I don't see how it's possible to complete a report in the field even if were Speedy Gonzalez. I have to download photos from my GoPro (roof inspections) as well as from my thermal camera. At that point I review all the photos to see which ones to use and which ones to discard and then upload to my reporting software. Maybe one day if I get a work van with a desk this would allow for this.

I respectfully donā€™t agree with showing up early unless youā€™re implying you show up early and then maybe a few minutes before the promised arrival time you then knock on the door, that makes sense. If you showed up at my house 30 minutes early Iā€™d be pissed off at you because Iā€™m not ready for your arrival. Now if you knocked on my door five minutes prior to your anticipated start time I would be impressed. I totally respect the accountability aspect and professionalism your explaining.
