Florio has a personal beef against Allen. If you're not Mahonnes what have any quarterback done as far as ultimate success.

I’m certainly no Chargers fan. But I do like watching Herbert throw. But I looked at his stats and he’s at a 67-percent completion percentage, has almost a 3 on his TD-2-INT ratio, and throws well over 4K yards per season. Maybe he was injured last year? I think he only played 13 games but he still threw for a lot of yards. But if you look at Herbert’s mechanics and incredible arm strength you should say, “Wow.” So I’m not convinced the Chargers issues have been his. But as a buddy of mine who was a football coach would say, “That boy could take a squirrel out of a tree at 70 yards.” I loved that expression as it always cracked me up.

Bruh Josh broke thru in 2020. His defense needs a dang stop in the playoffs.
  • As a Chargers fan, it would be really nice to have like a 12-5 season and win a playoff game. Hopefully Harbaugh gets us over the hump
  • When Chris said, 'He needs to get back there...' and went Russell Wilson, my first thought was 'Joe Burrow'. Can he stay healthy? How's the wrist? Let's see.

Watson has to have a all star year

Florio saying Josh Allen needs to “get past” Lamar Jackson is a joke. Bills beat the Ravens 17-3 in 2020.

I’m a Browns fan and I’ll admit this season will go entirely on how Watson performs.

DW will need a breakthrough season but does not need to have such a high statistical season. The fixation may be that he needs 5k yards, 40 TDs, 10 INTs. If the INTs come at critical points, no one is going to care about the rest of the numbers. Now, if he goes out there and throws for 3800 yards, 26 TDs and 8 INTs but his touchdowns come at critical times in games and leads to 12 wins, id much rather have that. Expectation for the team as a whole should be to reach the AFC Championship game.

Lol Tua is 0-6 when the temperature is under 47 degrees. He was 1-6 against playoff teams last year. They feasted on the poor last year. Tua is 6-13 when the Temperature is below 70 degrees. Above 70 degrees he is great! How is he supposed to go to Buffalo or Cincinnati or Kansas City or New England or New York or Baltimore and win late in the year when it really matter and in the playoffs? No I wouldn’t pay Tua anything until he shows me this year that he can do that.

its not getting Herbert right, it's getting the defense to at minimum middle of the pack 😭

Herbert and Allen have the same problem. They have to be heroes to get a win to compensate for their respective team flaws. I’m confident Harbaugh will resolve that problem for Herbert. I’m not confident Allen will get the same help.
  • Herbert and Allen are great. Both top 5 (imo). Allen is like A-Rod bc he’s a great qb but doesn’t have the team around him. Herbert is ironically like P.Rivers, he’s consistent but also does not have the team around him. Both cannot carry the team on their own, football is a team sport.
  • @foxfire1112
Absolutely Justin Herbert needs to, especially how that he is paired with Harbaugh
  • @kevintross9778
Burrow needs to be on this list. I love Burrow but he needs to stay healthy.
  • @user-ug8iu9wg4r
If the only thing wrong with Justin is his W/L record, I'd say that's a good place to be. He's put up big numbers bottom ranked defense, weak run games, and a bad coach. All out of his control. Remember he is 25-4 if the defense holds the team to 25 points.
  • @user-yn4uu8gu1u
Herbert does have a win over Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow and Tua and Jalen Hurts, but like he said they were not marquee wins.
  • @Mike-qe6ph
Are you really fucking grouping Herbert and Watson with Allen?
