After years of opposition, a Belmont-based company got state approval for a mine in western Gaston County. The mine could become the country's largest site for lithium mining.

I feel We The People need to become almost completely independent with whatever resources we need to mine from our own lands and not pay out the derriere to but these things elsewhere. Keep our money HERE!
