Good morning. Thank you. I can watch this and feel him more strongly. When a soul touches you as deeply as his did and it makes you feel seen, it is incredible.

I have come to realize I will never get over him.

I watch this when I am having a difficult day or just want to smile. I tell everyone about him, these stories. I had mentioned I was craving apples while talking to him on the phone. A knock on the door later and I looked up to see him grinning through the window in the front door, I was home alone and I jumped up to unlock the door. I opened it and he held out an apple. His 10 speed was parked, he had ridden 10 miles to Sutter to bring it. I hadn't asked. When I tell my friends about him I call him my 10 speed cowboy. The 10 gallon hat and the roses story too. Some dismissed the fact of his importance to me. His memory has held me together, he knew me better than most. Long talk, hours of laughter. Surprise visit, one less than two weeks before he died. No call, he knew where I was. 😂 Everyone knows who Erick is.

Little things like me feeling a urge to listen to you play the bagpipes and discovering this video. It was December 3rd, his birthday. I wonder too.
