It’s the Insurance Companies that dictate the length of stay in the hospital, not the state.

Sue the hospital for medical malpractice!!! Time after time, being sent home with all tests coming back normal but she caught a virus there. Then they called it “bad luck” WTH does that mean?!?!

So sorry to hear this. Thankful for the woman in the waiting room that sent you to a good hospital. As a mother and a retired RN it is incomprehensible that the doctor's office wouldn't see her as it sounds like you weren't the kind of person that called the doctor for every little thing. Mothers know their child even if you have had them for only a few days. I remember being with a group of women when my first child was 4 months old. He was being really fussy, etc. I told the woman that I thought he was teething and they all laughed at me. His tooth was there the next morning! Certainly not what you went through but when your child isn't acting right, you KNOW. It was the social worker's job to investigate something like this, but you in no way had anything to do with your dear babies death. And you did everything in your power to get her help. May God heal your heartache.
