Funny thing is, when I watched Avengers: Endgame, I was reminded of Joe's rant about Superman's Death at the end. Tony Stark's death is EXACTLY what Joe wanted to see for Superman. Has 22 movies to develop (granted he's not in all of them, but he's a present part of the universe throughout), goes out like a badass saving the day, and has the Avengers at his funeral. We got there eventually, Joe. Maybe not with Superman, or even DC, but we got there.

Joe’s wants: • The team of a dead superhero at his funeral. • The superhero to be wrecked before dying. • To build a connection with this hero. • To fear that this superhero will never come back. • The superhero’s death to be earned because of so much focus being put on him throughout several movies.
