PS How many 84 year olds do you know who think, talk and move like this man? Watch his gestures and the pace of his speech. Very different than most people I know his age. If I'm going to pick someone to model my health practices on, it's going to be someone who looks like what he's expounding!

The reason nutrition is not taught or used in Western medicine is because the pharma and medical devices, surgeries, etc would be lessened by probably 75%...so money is the reason

Love this man. He changed my life. My health belongs to me now and not drug companies.
  • @Paterson340
This man is not just a researcher....HE IS A BIOCHEMIST who spent his life thus far studying nutrition effect on long term health!!! He is the MOST knowledgeable man on this subject!
  • The system is corrupt. Yet just hearing the professor publicly ask why nutrition is ignored by medicine, gives some hope. The medical establishment cannot be given the respect they take for granted until there is major change. They have abused their position as healers.

This is 100% on point! I recently lost my partner to cancer, and I was appalled at what his “nutritionist “ told him to eat in order to gain the weight he lost due to chemotherapy. She said he should eat anything, ice cream, candy, whatever. When I questioned that, and said I believed every mouthful of food should have a high quality nutritional value, she of course didn’t know how to respond. Even his brother in law, who is a gastroenterologist, gave him the same advice as his nutritionist. We need more people like this man out there speaking about good nutrition. Food is medicine!
  • I started out as a registered nurse but quickly recognized the corruption of western medical system so I decided to become a doctor to practice medicine in my own way. For the past 50 years I have been teaching patients how to be well with nutrition, exercise and healthy thought process but the insurance industry has done everything in their power to put me out of business. 10 years ago they told me my job was to give drugs because I was forbidden to help people get well! The insurance industry and the doctors working for them need to be sued for not recognizing the nutritional deficiencies that are causing massive disease in people. Doctors are supposed to recognize why the disease happens but they don’t care they just drug the symptoms. We must investigate or downgrade Western medicine because they don’t help people. We need a department of health and people should be able to go to a preventive medicine doctor first before they’re drugged! We’re paying billions of dollars to keep people sick for the profit of the insurance industry🤔

I came to the conclution that having people healthy makes no sense from a economic point of view. No doctors, no surgeries, no treatments, no drugs. Terrible business model. True but sad.

So refreshing to hear the top research speak honestly about the corruption that is killing millions. I think because of his age and morale fibre he has no fear to speak out about corporate corruption.
  • This makes me want to cry & be enraged all at the same time! Taking your health into your own is the only answer & hope for humanity
  • As a physician it is sad to see poor health, not wellness as a driver of economic growth in medicine. While it is true that this is what we practice in our current model, it simply highlights why certain service industries cannot merge with capitalism. If increased wealth is the only driver of the pursuit of wellness then we can never truly tackle the epidemic health issues of the world. What Campbell demonstrates is that the tools for wellness are cheap, readily available and within all of our grasp.
  • Fascinating vid & reading the comments. My journey to wfpb diet started with seeing the movie "what the health" with my youngest daughter. I was 65, diabetic & overweight. My youngest son was already vegan. Now 5 years later I have reversed my diabetes (thx dr. Jason Fung) with better nutrition, fasting & intermittent fasting. At 70 I am well & take no meds. So grateful for those doctors & scientists who dare to defy the mainstream medical/pharma mafia. Most of my family are now vegan or veggies & we're doing great. Peace, health & love to all.

God bless Dr. Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn for everything they do to educate people about the importance of a plant based diet.❤️🙏
  • @Magazinelady
I have a hiatal hernia and yet no one discussed nutrition. When I asked if I could see a nutritionist, I was told that my insurance would only cover it if I were diabetic. I am doing my own research. Thank you for speaking out so honestly.
  • Eating lots of healthy fats, drinking lots of green tea, increasing water intake, cutting Red 40, no alcohol, and minimizing sugar, eating lots of wild caught fish, red meat, veggies, fruits, magnesium dense foods and magnesium supplements has helped cut 90% of my bipolar and ADHD medication. I’m happy to say that I’m almost med free and managing my moods well. Nutrition is powerful. Don’t underestimate a balanced diet
  • This man has been doing research in plant-based diet for years. Netflix has a couple of documentaries that feature him. His theories are eye-opening and revolutionary. He is a role model and an inspiration.
  • There's more money in sick people... you will spend more money if you are sick, afraid, confused and distracted.
