  • @Ezzybith
I can relate to •No Sleepovers •No provocative clothing •No Halloween (personally i probably won’t ever celebrate it) •Get straight A’s (once I was told off for getting 31/32 in a test) •Greet you elders(and anyone else who steps into our house) •A lot of cleaning •Curfew problems(I got told off for being 1 min late)

No sleepovers is relatable to EVERY child of immigrant parents

The worst thing is you don't get to have friends bc of all the rules. They are bonding and getting closer at sleepovers or after school activities but you can only see them at school. You never get that close with anyone.

Every time you ask your mom to go to your friends’ house for a sleepover: “do they have a dad and brother” Noo mom they have a chinchilla 🙄
  • @Jake5537t

Growing up in a strict family made me a pretty good liar
  • @donnas5591
The sleep over one is my family. My mom won’t let me go to other people’s houses for sleepovers and once I got so mad I wrote a 5 page essay as to why children should be allowed to have sleepovers lol 😂 I’m still not allowed tho 🙄
  • @pelotaball
“You can have sleepovers when you get your own house.” -My mom 2018 The thing is I couldn’t tell if she was joking or not 🤷‍♀️.
