  • That line - "When Venezuela walked away and just Colombia and I stood together. That memory of me winning it and her hands going up in the air as if she had won taught me tremendous grace. Someone like me needed the crown to know that grace. Colombia already had. She didn't need it" - is pure gold.

Sushmita what a true line- " whether you are married or not, most children grow up with a single parent" I am editing it here just to clarify that my interpretation of Sushmita's statement is that mostly it is one parent that a child has considerably higher reliability on. That one parent that has a greater positive dominance in a child's life. It could be due to multiple reasons.

"Someone like me needed the crown to learn grace, she didnt need it, she had it" only Sushmita Sen, the one and only
  • Interviews with Sushmita Sen are not just talk shows. They are lessons for life. Twinkle has an amazing sense of wit too! Love these ladies.
  • It almost looks like she imbues life into conversations. She speaks like a monk, looks like a goddess, acts like an enigma and most importantly is a beautiful human. Loved this interview.

I loved this interview. The host knows how to listen to her guest. The set was very relaxed, candid. I have never seen anyone casually and gracefully eat during an interview. Sushmita gives out answers like life quotes. A true Miss Universe.
  • Gosh, sushimita sen’s story about mothers instinct taking her daughter to the hospital was incredible. Moved me to tears - this is such an amazing interview thank you so much

Wow. What an interview! Not even a single dull moment where I had to skip and move forward, instead I had to rewind it and rewatch some clips because of how powerful and relatable their conversations were. Didn’t want it to end. Felt like the shortest 40 minutes interview. More power and love to both of them. 💓💓
  • The voice, the accent, the expressions, the vocabs, the smiles, the halts in words and sentences- Soothing Sush.

So true when Twinkle said we get inspired and motivated but rarely we take the step which Sushmita did to adopt knowing that would probably leave her unmarried all her life. I find that so incredible. And yes, just giving birth doesnt make u a mother. It’s the maternal instinct and the bond you share with the child. Kudos and much respect for you Sushmita!
  • Her line tho.."I think you are married or not married, most children grow up with a single parent" - that is on point. I have my both parents living together but their relationship more often ends up with an argument, and as a child for 27 years, I am always thankful that only my mom and grandma is the one who brought me up.
