Disguised Toast organised a 40v40 rust event against the Spanish community, trying to create a bridge between these two massive pillars of the streaming world. It was supposed to be a multiple day competition, and it ended up being all but that.

  • the EDITOR of this video is the real MVP, the amount of clips and POVs he had to go over is unthinkable
  • @omegagaming609
You know shit is rough when the worst of the toxicity and crying happens before xqc shows up.
  • @mmMMm-xg5gt
i think this was a huge success, everyone got content and exposure from this event and it managed to capture the most accurate rust experience
  • @NickKrispy69
Toast literally seeing them break the rules being like "Eh baby thats rust we can still come back." meanwhile the spanish team is complaining about every small thing that isnt going their way. the heli crashed and one dude was about to curse out the spanish side for not jumping out "WHY DIDNT YOU GUYS JUMP?!?!?"
  • I died when Mendo said "Start looting before they add a rule saying we can't"
  • Leave it to Toast, as a Canadian, to lead a bunch of Americans to get some oil xD
  • Spanish team - kills shroud with incin rounds Also Spanish team - “wow they’re using incendiary bullet, aren’t incin rounds tier two”
  • @thepotato5037
Spanish team got mad, changed the rules, broke their own rules, lost, and rage quit
  • this is just sad knowing that there is still a large amount of players on their side who wanted to continue playing and have fun, and 3 or 4 people ruined it.
  • @NaturallyGreasy
THE ADMIN "We didnt expect people to build the base out of twig, our bad" is such a lowkey diss hahaha
  • @bighugejamie
Kind of sad looking at how excited toast was when he was watching the squads of people fight eachother near the beginning. Great event up until the drama I hope this gets done again
  • @samiuyo
You can clearly tell which team was actually having fun 😭😭😭
  • literally so sad when toast said "the admins cant punish the spanish team because they will threaten to leave before the event is over and twitch and the sponsors wont get their moneys worth and all the effort of the team and creators will be wasted. so the admins have to appeal to the spanish team."

Written Conclusion of First Day :3 ES team fights NA team outside of NA base which didn’t really exist yet [Legal]. However, the ES team spawn camped [Legal] and placed beds on NA island to keep respawning on the enemy island [Illegal at the time]. During fights, a few ES streamers used F1 killing, which is going into the console to self kill so the enemy team won’t get dog tags (think /kill for you minecrafters) [Illegal for the entire tournament although it was hard to enforce but it started with the ES team]. Loot was not returned back to NA team as no one on the NA side cried to admins but took it as your typical Rust experience. NA team then fights back, making their way to the ES island to fight, in vengeance per say. Unexpectedly, the ES base was made out of twig which would easily break. Outside of CoconutB purposely shooting a door [Illegal], most, if not all, the broken twigs were essentially hit by crossfire unintentionally. NA streamers made their way into the ES base from the roof and sides and took some loot, but upon a ton of complaints, most of the loot taken [LEGALLY] (remember as it just happened to the NA team) was then given back to the ES team. ES team gets kinda upset as the whole accidentally breaking twig structures was spurred into something much more than that. Especially by that one female ES streamer who literally just fed misinformation to the ES team the entire tournament to unnecessarily fuel the fire. Due to complaints, the rules are updated to enforce no breaking structures and no going beyond two doors deep into main bases for both sides. TO FAVOR THE ES TEAM BTW! After these rules are updated, an Oil Rig event occurs. The ES team establish early dominance at the OR. NA streamers decided to give up on the event and instead raid the ES base while following the rules as most of the better ES players were at the OR. Since the ES base wasn’t repaired and there was technically no two door layers, the NA streamers yet again entered the ES base from open side doors and ladders from the roof [Legal]. Loot was taken again but what a surprise, the ES team complains thinking that new rules were established to prevent raids, but in reality, the ES team just didn’t repair their base and instead went to prepare for OR. Since this raid was done perfectly legally, the loot taken was allowed to be kept. Coincidentally, due to a bug that benefited the ES team earlier, the NA team got 50 dog tags to balance it out. To the ES team, it looked like the NA team broke the rules again and got rewarded for it by the admins, which the ES team couldn’t stop bitching about later. ES team quits. New rules are placed. No going into the 15 x 15 base anymore and structures are coded to be indestructible. NEW RULES ARE IMPLEMENTED AGAIN ON BEHEST OF THE ES TEAM. CoconutB then makes a heist, without going into the actual base, but by going on top of the base and stole the scrap heli, which originally was stolen by the ES team from the NA team. This was a controversial technicality as CoconutB didn’t go into any doors to steal the heli. Again, of course, the ES team complained. No new rules were implemented due to controversy. New Oil Rig event spawns. NA team establish early dominance with the stolen scrap heli and held the OR. In response to losing OR, the ES team starts to accuse the NA team of using Pythons, which are tier 2 guns. However, no clip from any of the NA vods shows that this is true. Upon asking for a clip of NA team members using Pythons, the ES team couldn’t produce any. In fact, this rumor was brought up by none other than the female streamer who “heard it from chat.” When the NA team loses, they strategize and try new plans to attack the vulnerable ES base. When the ES team loses, they make up false accusations and complain to admins. ES team start making Pythons to use, saying “Oh you guys can cheat and make them so we’ll make them too. Don’t worry, it’s no big deal.” As if they were taking the moral high ground. Typical false flagging. Stupefied, NA team makes them in response. Weapons rules are updated to allow Python revolvers. Not to favor the NA team, but because everyone started making them. However, some ES streamers might have truly believed that the rules were made to favor NA. The reality is, it wasn’t. With these new guns, the NA team raids the ES team again, legally, as no new rules were made from CoconutB’s solo heist. The NA team went in from the roof without breaking structures and looted items again. At this point, the ES team is fuming and complains yet again. Admins then make new rules, AGAIN. TO BENEFIT THE ES TEAM. No entering the main bases AT ALL to loot or kill. NA team goes into nighttime and goes to sleep. During this time, the ES team explicitly break the rules that were literally just built a few hours prior to help the ES team and go deep into the the NA base, kill afk players, and looted items. Clearly illegal. NA then complains, and admins take action again. In response to the rule breaking, the loot taken illegally was returned to the NA team while the scrap helicopter taken legally was returned to the ES team. Insane gameplay. And this was just day one, before breaking twitch terms of service even happened.
  • 21:56 Spanish team uses homemade shells. Fine 37:39 NA team uses them. Hell no! 7:36 Spanish team uses shotgun. Muy bien. 18:50 NA team used shotguns. ¡Esto es injusto!
  • @Kinsooo
spanish team: breaks the rules Also spanish team when they start losing: “Hey they’re breaking the rules!
  • @amorfatikhb
the shear amount of POVs shown here is insane. major props to the collection team and the editors for putting them all together in a coherent order. and the translators!! translating is so hard. i appreciate it.
  • @its2three4
Shroud trying to be a good guy and reviving Alexby and then being attacked by someone else on the Spanish team summarizes up this entire event so fucking well lmao
  • @manatortv
"Lets quit so they don't get content" LOL. What an embrrassment for the Spanish community
  • @blbblb21223
First gun is 6:37 from IsVolcano at 7:12 the same player has a revolver in his inventory, and a minute later, toast gets killed by a shotgun. They even say "The playstyle of the spanish team is a little how do we say it without bad words, dirty."
