Providing virtually no background or context, this piece evokes the extensive experiment log of SCP-261, “Pan-Dimensional Vending,” which similarly includes a series of unusual, unpredictable outputs from an anomalous food source. What carries this piece is Hisham H.’s grotesque and vivid perversion of food and animal physiology.
The absurd title “BURGRR YUM” solidifies this story’s connection to Jonathan “Bogleech” Wojcik’s Awful Hospital universe, which originated in 2013 with the “Burgrr Entries” creepypasta, secretly posted on the now-defunct Burgrr.com website. Hisham expands on the anomalous, and nauseating, food service described in that creepypasta and explores it with clinical methodology.
