For anyone else who might want to give the Never Leave the Farm challenge a shot (and happens to see this comment before then…) I’ve tried out this challenge several times and have a few tips! 1. Use the Four Corners farm. None of the other even compare for ease of navigation and resource availability. With that in mind… 2. Check the mini-quarry every single day, and keep it clear. You will start getting iron ore at mining level 4, gold at 7, and iridium at 10. It takes a long time to level, so mine everything you can. 3. The top left corner corner will spawn mixed-seed weeds, but only if there are weeds there in the first place. Clear out everything else, but leave the normal weeds so they can spread! 4. (Edited) Go for the cave upgrade as soon as possible. Both options have their pros and cons, depending on whether you want fruit for wine and Foraging XP or mushrooms for quicker cash and easier Fall Seeds from Brown Mushrooms (they are craftable even with the Fruit Bats, but it’s a much more rng process). Speaking of which… 5. You can (and should) get a seed maker. Get to Farming 9 using Mixed Seed crops, get Mining 7 for gold ore, and use Brown Mushroom for Fall Seeds and Winter Root for Winter Seeds. In the meantime (while you level Mining), get kegs, preserves jars, and tappers. 6. For professions, go with Tiller-Artisan (Jelly/Pickles, Juice/Wine, and Mead), Miner-Prospector (you will always need more ore and coal), and Gatherer-Botanist (you won’t need Hardwood since you can’t use casks, and you can get Fall and Winter seeds with Tip 5). 7. Save your Stone for preserves jars! They’re a great money maker, and 40 stone starts to look like a lot a few seasons in. I‘ll probably add onto this as I think of new stuff, but feel free to add your own tips in the replies!

Instead of prison I think of this more of a castaway run. The money isn't real, it's just points. It's oddly calming. No neighbours.
