Just to listen to the sublime John McGeoch on that lead guitar sends shivers down my spine, a band without equals, a guitarist supremely gifted who deserves the ultimate recognition. Wow what great music 👍

Rest in Peace John McGeoch, gone way too soon!

McGeoch, Budgie, Siouxsie, Severin. A supergroup IMHO. Here at their best.

Love it! Wish I was young again and back in the 80's!

I saw the Banshees twice, and they sound better live than in the studio.

Best live version I have heard. I forgot just what a great line-up this was, from back to front, perfection.

This is great - she's like an exotic bird, hard to take your eyes off her.. Great energy. It's supposedly about her having been brought up above a Chinese takeaway in Chislehurst and the "would you like number 23, leave your yen on the counter please" alludes to that, as does "chicken chow mein and chop suey...". Love it.
  • At 1:53 it's like a sonic boom just goes off. The drums and guitar just form a sound, where I feel in that moment, they were at their absolute peak. I cannot even find the words to match the emotion I feel, when McGeoch lets out that screech at 2:32. John, you were such a pioneer. An innovator. Irreplaceable. 🎸🎵

Electric stuff. You can hear the contribution of each musician, coupled with The Queen of Punk.

Brilliant song... Amazing performance... Good times. Glad I was brought up with this kind of music. Better than the old pony that's out now.
