“BABE! Start the popcorn, Brads responding to comments again!” Something we love about your videos is your honesty and transparency. And you’re hilarious. 😂

“For an extra fee of $15 get an extra pickup in November and December. Wednesday before Thanksgiving to ‘clear the can’ before the holiday and December 26 for all the holiday and visitor trash. For an extra $8 add Christmas Tree pickup for January 3. Get both for $20 till Oct 31.”
  • Hey there Brad, I was the one that sent you that email about the ProPactor Trailer. Thank you for at least taking a look at it! And i didn't know about that CDL thing about your truck with it as i haven't heard about it. Since the ProPactor trailer wont work, i do recommend that you do eventually get that rear loader as it will help you alot!
  • Brad…I totally understand and respect what you’re saying on the business plan. In regard to having employees and your goals. But…someone will be offended😂

13:43 I feel bad for laughing at you, but this progression of events were hilarious 😂 And what lots of trash guys will do is they will bring spare vests/ clothes. It’s to be expected on a 400+ stop route, to get some kind of trash juices on you lol. 16:01 a frog, at a toucan stop!! Brad.. you spoke so many great things in this video, and I am all aboard with your thinking! And, I will pitch in, Another reason it would be great to get a garbage truck, is that you would save so much money, rather than getting these “temporary solution trailers” that are just too expensive for the disadvantages they bring. The rear loader will potentially stick around for Years, before you even have to worry about sizing up. And certainly the greatest improvement would be little to no lifting, or handling any garbage! Would you work solo with the trash truck or would you have your wife help you? Thanks Brad for another amazing video! Take care

Brad to prevent water accumulation in the cans, drill two holes in the bottom of the can at two of the corners, it’ll allow them to stay dry. 3/8 inch hole usually works well

You should know…the truck will explode on you too…while you’re running the blade or tipping a can and not standing in just the right place. When tipping a very heavy can…after a party or holiday get together, you’re going to start breaking the cans and the metal bars are going to pop off when using a tipper. Keep that in mind so you’ve got spares. To make the cost of a truck more worth it to you, offer bulky pick ups. Couches, furniture, whatever for a small fee. Check the competitors pricing structures to see what the fees are, if any more, picking up anything extra(if it doesn’t fit in the can).

Me thinking about this problem cause I'm in Indiana and not thinking you're in Florida: "That's gonna suck in the winter cold and snow" 😅
  • I would invest on the compact trailer at 200 can you will need it .. the good thing on a trailer is if the unit your hualing goes down you can hook up a back up vehicle and finish your route .. you can always training your wife to drive a trailer but if your garbage truck goes down your business stops as well …

I'm hyped to see the garbage truck when that happens, and hey... there's a whole genre that entails hopper views here on youtube.

There are some potential workarounds for the CDL aspect of the trailer. The manufacturer of the trailer can derate the rating to 15k or 14k or whatever before they sell it. Additionally, I think the salesman was correct saying you can tow it legally with a 3/4 ton. Many trucks have a 10,000-9,500 lb GVWR to get around the CDL requirement for 16k trailers. If you look at some commercial GM/Ford dealers, a lot of the trucks say “10k gvwr package” for that exact reason.

Always right to the point and no B.S. That's why I like this channel. Also, as a small business owner, this is very interesting seeing you start this new venture.
  • @indypecas8628
Have you ever thought about rolling out recycle and Yardwaste carts?
  • @prestonhd1497
All I’m saying is that it’s good to have a CDL to pull this trailer but for me I’m 19 years old and drove a huge military dump truck for our city maintenance and I’m big chilling 😂saves me money not having a CDL 😂
  • for me. running a compactor trailer would make sence if you forced youre klients into seperate carbord and paiper frome the other trash. but then you would need 1 more bin for every contrackt.
  • @GoProJack16
As you continue to add more and more cans, will you come up with an optimized system for which cans to pick up when? Like is there an app or something for optimizing your route? Would love to see you talk about how you can create efficiency like that.
