The whole village was the enemy. His dad saved the village and got treated like dirt. This makes the story even better because he still chose to love the village that hated him.

This all could have been avoided if everyone in the village knew that Naruto was the son of Minato. People admired the Fourth Hokage and I'm sure the village would have come together to look after and protect Naruto if they only knew that Naruto was the son of the Hokage that saved them from the nine tails.

He didn't even know what kind of people they were.. At such a young age when you're fighting for your Identity.. Yahiko & Nagato were fighting for their existence, Sasuke & Gaara were fighting for their revenge, Kakashi was fighting with the pain too.. But, every single one of them had someone to be with them, who acknowledged them, but Naruto was fighting for his presence, for the identity
