Don't act surprised EV owners. You were told this would happen but you're smarter than everyone!!

The battery in my car works just fine at low temperatures. My gas car started with no problems at -17 Fahrenheit. I needed to get gas and took less than 3 minutes to fill up. 3 minutes, not 3 hours.

My Tesla had 39% battery I didn’t drive it for two days. It dropped to 6%. When I got to it I was stranded at home couldn’t get to the supercharger.. fml

I got a full tank of gas, and several 5 gallon gas cans in my shed. I will be fine.

Ev,s might be fine in areas that don't ever get cold weather but it should still be up to the consumer to decide what is best for them NOT the government .

What everyone already knew would happen in frigid weather, lol

JB was unavailable to comment about EV’s not charging in Chicago …

Sounds like a tow truck might be a good second car to own if you own a EV.

If your residency forces parking in a community space, travel long distances, tow heavy items, or live where it gets really cold, don't even think about an EV for purchase yet.

I filled my gas powered car up yesterday. took me 5 minutes to put 10 gallons in the tank including the time to walk inside and hand the clerk the cash.
  • Who could have predicted this to happen?! Look at all the salt on those cars! If that gets to the battery what do you thing the outcome will be?

True story: One time during a cold snap, I left my ICE car parked overnight too. I started it the next morning and drove to work.

If people don’t have the means to drive anywhere, they become more dependent on the government. Coincidence?
  • @vancouverman4313
This is what happens when you put politicians who failed kindergarten science in charge of transportation and energy policy.

Finally the EV community are contributing to the great cause, saving Mother Earth during the Winter. They should do this during the Summer Too.
