Jewel Thief is one of my favourite movie. This movie was released in Delhi and UP by M/s. Great Arts Pvt. Ltd., Where my late father worked as Manager. That's why I have seen this movie a number of times. Now I think that such a nice suspense thriller with best direction, best music and best actors can not be repeated in the current film industry better than the old Jewel Thief, the master piece of its time.

I have seen more then 10 times this movie. What a suspens thriller movie i have ever seen in my life. What a story, direction, songs, scenic view of sikkim everything in this moovie which everyone enjoyed well. Pure movie me devanand sab ko ritsar ullu banaya gaya hai bichara ghumta hi rehta hai. Goldi was a real 24k gold. You see guide, jhony mera nam, teesari manzil or jwellthief then realized that how great was Goldi. 👍👍

Dev Anand has been. my favorite actor, till today. I have seen almost all movies of Dev sahab. His style of dialogue delivery is unique. His songs are very famous, lovely and backbone of the movie. I love this great Actor. 15:16

Jewel Thief is a 1967 best Hindi Spy thriller heist film directed by Vijay Anand. The film became a box office hit. It got the Filmfare Best Sound Award It remained one of the Best film of Vijay Anand. Dev Anand gave him freedom to select the subject and its script. People even today enjoy the film. A good video by Rakeshji on the wonderful movie.

Vijay Anand and his older siblings, Chetan and Dev, were ahead of time and their contemporaries. Yes, Vijay was inspired by the master of suspense Hitchcock and Dev by Gregory Peck. Vijay proved he was a creative genius in his first film, Nau Do Gyarah (1957) . He was a master of suspense and twists and turns in the plot. He got the best out of Dev, Ashok Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Kishore Sahu, Pran, Premnath and Ifthekar. Vijay was called Goldie because most of his films (Kala Bazaar, Tere Ghar ke Samne, Guide, Teesri Manzil, Jewel Thief and Johnny Mera Naam) were Golden Jubilee hits in the cinema halls of the bygone era. Sadly, Vijay did not get his due in Hindi cinema considering his awesome body of work. Hope younger generation watches his films.

Jewel Thief was my one of the favourite film.I watched it for several times .The story,plot construction,characterisation,music & above all acting ,everything was superb.It was par excellence.This thriller ismile - stone in the history of Bollywood film industry.
