"Puzzle" live at the Tokyo Gardens. "Puzzle" was the song that locked me in as a Maidiac. They have now been together for 10 years as a band. They have been touring the US and Europe since 2016.

This was from their Line Cube Shibuya concert. It was the second to last song. 22 of 23 song set. The song right before this one also has an Official LIVE Video, 'Play!' LIVE.

Band-Maid, one of the best hard/metal bands on the planet. I would suggest the live version of their song 'Freedom' from this same concert....great drum solo...but you can't go wrong with any songs from them! 👍👍

Was this part of a bigger concert? Yes, this is them sweat-free and still full of energy playing song number 22 of a 23 song set. They were all in their mid to late 20s at the time. With the possible exception of The Foo Fighters there is no band still performing who have such a two way loving relationship with their fans as the Maids.

My personal favorite Band-Maid songs are Blooming and Corallium! No live versions of those are (officially) available, but there is a MV for Blooming on their official channel.

Freedom live has a great solo from Akane and then Kaname .

When viewing Band-Maid always opt for live. This band will surprise you because just when you think they can't show you anymore they do something even more amazing.

After Kanami finishes her last blazing solo, Saiki sings, "Our pulses race together." Indeed! Band-Maid. Domination. Nuff said! Thx, Mrs. Pal! ;-)

Introducing The Band... Miku [mee-kuu] (Small Pigeon) - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, Lyricist, Band Founder Misa [mee-suh] (Barefoot Assassin) - Bass Guitar Akane [aah-kah-nay] (Gorilla) - Drums Kanami [kah-nah-mee] (Mincho) - Lead Guitar, Songwriter Saiki [sigh-kee] (Sai-Chan) - Lead Vocals The band calls the contrast between their cutesy maid costumes and their hard rock sound "the gap". They enjoy seeing the confused looks on people's faces when they walk on stage and the reaction when they start playing with their hard rock sound. They call their fans Masters and Princesses, which refers to the maid cafe that band founder Miku Kobato worked in when she envisioned a rock and roll group with the maid cafe image and aesthetic. Us fans mainly refer to ourselves as Maidiacs. My opinion is that Band-Maid are one of the best bands to have formed in the past 10 years, and are currently one of the best rock and roll bands on the planet. They play many genres and styles including ballads, power ballads, pop, rock, progressive rock, hard rock, punk, metal, nu metal, and everything before in-between and beyond. They also have several great instrumental songs that they use live to give their lead singer Saiki a break. I don't know what musical style that you prefer but you can't go wrong by listening to Onset, From Now On, Moratorium, No God, Rinne, About Us, Play, Why Why Why, and my favorite Official Music Video of theirs Don't You Tell Me. The double bass kick drum on No God and Rinne will blow your mind. Have fun with it!

From Japan To see their most recent live performance, I recommend Hate from Lollapalooza last August. It's not an official video, but it's on YouTube. It shows that they remain a pure live Rock band.
