In this video I go over the Holosun 507C X2. I talk about the features, how they are applicable to operations and things I am not so fond of.

The audio is a little pitchy on this video. šŸ™

This guy takes money from the Holosun Chinese Communist just like Joe Biden. A real patriot he isā€¦.sticking a knife in the back of our domestic weapons suppliers like Trijicon.
  • I bought this exact model red dot because of this video and Iā€™ll say I think it is better than the RMR for the simple fact that I donā€™t have to take the entire red dot off of the gun to change the battery and then resight it in. Huge benefit that I think is overlooked and under appreciated
  • The Best review Iā€™ve seen on the 507C X2 and educational. You sir provided additional in others didnā€™t cover. I like the fact you clarified the ā€œmade in Chinaā€ issue & history. I own 3 optics from Holosun and they work great. Holosun customer service is excellent also. For the price point I couldnā€™t ask for more. You got my šŸ‘šŸ» and my subscription & referral šŸ˜Ž

Holy smokes, I am digging the honesty and grittiness. Imma subscribe, just based off of that alone. Also, I have 5 variations of the MRDS optics from Holosun. They're well made, affordable, and are allowed for duty use.

I got the 407c x2 the other day because of price. Real nice optic, good reviews. Solid. Thanks
  • @robdog9182
Love and appreciate your honesty. Subscribed asap! Finally a lefty who knows the struggles in a righthanded world.....

Thank you for this review, cant wait to see how it holds up for you in testing. šŸ¤™šŸ¼

Iā€™m glad you found one that works for you. I just recently needed to get stronger prescription for my eyes. I have the Trijicon RM06 and this exact model, and in my opinion, they both work great. Itā€™s definitely all with overall marksmanship.
  • Jason hit every nail on the head with this review. I, too, got sucked into the lore of, "if it ain't Merican', it's shit!" while we watch a Trijicon RMR review on our Chinese phones. I picked up a HS507C-X2 Green off a Marketplace steal for brand new and proceeded to absolutely obliterate a 30 yard IPSC silhouette with the hostage target the size of my hand - doling out lasers and flipping it back and forth with a Boogeyman Customs LaLlorona G22 build that I built just to make the 9MM fanboys squirm. Chinese or what, this optic SLAPS, period. Don't forget, you might have $40,000 pano NVG's but you'll still get smoked in the Boogaloo by a dude with good cardio and a SKS with open sights who's been shooting that gun at the local gamelands since 2004.

I had my gen 3 G19 slide milled by ATEi for my RMR. I've since changed the battery twice and have not needed to re-zero. I love the RMR. Having said that, I recently met someone at the range with HOLOSUN 507C-X2 ACSS Vulcan. Now I want one. With the RMR, if I'm squared up I will always find the dot. But one handed, leaning on an object, on my rear - then I may have to fish a little. This reticle is very interesting.
  • @danclas5983
I love my 507c Gr acss vulcan reticle. One thing you didn't bring up that I've wondered about is the durability of the solar panel. If that baby takes a well placed impact what will the collateral damage be to the optic as a whole. So far I kinda like the auto brightness feature, but I will admit I haven't tried using one locked setting. Your right about going through your house and getting rid of everything not made in the U.S. You'd be naked as a jay bird sitting in an empty house. I look forward to your videos, thanks.
  • @1ltcap
i've been running the407c green. so far i like it. i haven't had it out at any rough trainings yet though....only shot at indoor range.
  • @charles17508
I love my holosun I have 3 of them and they have been rock solid for years .
  • I just bought the HE (Elite) 407c x2 green 2moa dot mainly because it was on sale & cheaper than the others at $225 on Optics Planet (battery came pre-installed, with long, med & short screws) & I have a astigmatism. Love the auto dimming & Brightness, shake a wake, etc. I mounted it straight to $179 Dagger SW4 GatorMouth cut RMR milled Complete Slide for my G19X frame šŸ¤Ÿ Runs great. Just swapped out the backplates
  • I have had an RMR for year's. I have changed the battery twice. The impact shift was zero to minimal. That being said, I have been thinking about the Holosun. I like the battery tray and the solar idea and have zero issues with holosun aimpoint style dots on ARs
  • @welderdude1
Jason is a great guy. Trained with him a while back.
  • @OL-Tom
Love my Holosun HS407K-X2 The 6 MOA Dot is better for my bad eyesight and I can turn it down brightness wise for a crisp sight. Being a direct fit for my P365xl was a good thing as well.
