The wife of a man who won $273 million in the Mega Millions lottery earlier this month is asking him to end her court-ordered spousal support. Eileen Murray was the primary breadwinner during her marriage to Mike Weirsky of Alpha, New Jersey. They just divorced months ago, and Murray was ordered to pay spousal support for five years, but she's hoping his massive windfall will change things. "To him, [the alimony] is pocket change at this point," Murray told Inside Edition. #InsideEdition

I guarantee you if SHE had won the lotto and he were forced to pay her alimony, this story would be entirely ignored by the media.

She isn't asking for any of his winnings. She's only asking for the spousal support to stop. And it should.

The random interview with the divorce attorney, saying she has no right to the money, after she already said she wasn’t seeking any money, was ridiculous. She just wants to stop having to pay him, which is a no-brainer.

There’s a lesson here. When an unemployed man asks you to marry him in a convenience store, run for the hills.

He probably bought the lottery ticket with alimony money!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Never had a steady job in 15 years gets alimony falls ass backwards into money. Some guys get all the breaks.

She's absolutely not entitled to any of his winnings, but the alimony payments should stop. If I were him I would gift her a good amount of money because she supported him for so long!
  • If there is no kids and debt, such as one supporting the other through school, why would anyone need alimony?

I don't think he has to give her any money legally but she shouldn't have to pay alimony anymore

I just saw another video and this guy left the ticket at the store, but the cashier returned it to him. He really does just stumble through life with good things happening to him.
  • Even if the courts demand her to keep paying alimony, it would be a darn decent thing if he gave it back.

This man hit the jackpot twice at the same store. The first time was when he met this wife who supported him for 15 years. He should always shop at this store.

Her having to pay alimony after he won 273M is lunacy.
  • @bbkayy1854
So she took care of him thru the marriage and now she's expected to keep paying him money he doesn't need? This is insane
  • @FaithLoveDreams
While I understand the law, couldn’t he just decide he no longer wants it and ask that the spousal support stop? She’s not asking for his winnings….. 273 Million dollars and to continue to receive a check from her in this case is absurd.
  • @PC-vx6ko
The purpose of alimony is to support a person who has never had the means to support themself. Now he has means to support himself, so the alimony serves no purpose.
  • The way he said "i have millions and she doesnt want me...". Dude nobody wants you. They want your money. And she wants her alimony payments to stop.

He didn't work for 15yrs? Wtf?!? And he wonders why she can't stand him?
  • @ama3182
Wow you can see and hear he's hurt that she never wanted him before and after. He must of been a real jerk to her before the money. Sad that he had to make that statement "she didnt have a chance getting back with me" lol yea keep telling yourself your catch dude. Pathetic. She supported you for 15 yrs
