Please remember that many of the injured are actually members of the flight crew. They were injured and yet were still trying to help passengers. Anyone berating the flight crew needs to have more human decency. The pilots did a great job of landing the flight safely. It was an unpredictable clear air turbulence that no one, no technology, could have averted.

To me, the flight crew members were heroes. They were injured, too, and their passengers were still first to be checked. Professionalism at its best.

Thanks to the pilots & crew. 228 people live to tell a tale.

In such a situation it is mandatory for the pilots to turn of autopilot and autothrust and hand fly the plane to landing so hats off to them

My heart goes out to the lady who lost her husband and to everyone else on the plane love to all

Can we take a moment to acknowledge how much better their hospital gowns are?
  • This is so sad. 😞 That poor Man that passed away. My thoughts are with his wife and everyone else on board. Hope everyone recovers.

In the other news, this man seemed to change his mind, stop traveling to Singapore and visit Bangkok after he was approved to finish his treatment in the hospital. GOOD LUCK MAN. 🙏

there is good reason Why Seat belt should be fasten at all times, I experienced flight Turbulence in the past so I always fasten
  • @JazzyJae88
Not that this is important, but that is really nice hospital attire. 😊 We need this in the US.

I take roughly 80-90 flights a year, and In every flight i take nowadays the standard message always says to please keep the seat belt on, even when the fasten seatbelt sign has been switched off… and yet systematically people take it off immediately. Instead of just make it a bit loose … usually first time flyers or rare holiday makers… maybe they should leave the sign on all the time…

Off topic, but that looks like a very nice hospital room.
  • This is clear air turbulence also known as invisible turbulence.
  • Is he in the hospital or hotel? If it's a hospital, Wow, looks nice and I can tell any patient would get well soon in this gourgeous room. Also, Thanks to God everyone is alright after this terrible situation and my prayers goes to the family of the elderly man which lost his life. 😔
  • I was on a Fokker 50 in the 1980s that had a similar problem. The asshole across the aisle from me was the only passenger not to have his seat belt on. He was catapulted upwards, and his shoulder hit the overhead lockers. First time (and hopefully the last) that I will hear bone shattering.

Omg, it must have been very difficult to communicate right after it happened . Stay positive brother!
