Vlogging in public - How do YOU feel about it?

I rewatch this every few months and it gives me something new each time

Vlogging in public feels like wearing socks in the shower.

Watching this 3 years later and I have incorporated these points in my own vlogs, and it's true - You are the story, share it, be yourself and enjoy the journey! Keep creating!

It’s funny how I come back to old videos like this. Re watching them still gives me the motivation and hypes me up so much. I’ve opened up a lot more since the first time I watched this. I’m proud of that and thankful for creators like you Peter.

I'm 60 and have been vlogging for almost a year now. Thanks Peter for being such a fun inspiration in this new adventure. You're leaving a wonderful legacy for your family. Keep em' coming :)

This is so true! People watch vlogs because they love the person or family, not specifically what they are doing!

2023 and here I am watching Pete’s advices, getting ready to launch my own YouTube channel and it is amazing how 5 years later everything he advices it still applies. Thanks Pete for inspiring me for years in so many ways. After dealing with a chronic disease I decided it is time to give back to the community, just as you have inspired and taught us. I used to feel really awkward vlogging in public, I used to not do it at all, especially if I was by myself, but now that I've been doing it for awhile I honestly don't care, some advice from a small creator like me is that if you feel uncomfortable vlog with friends, it takes away less of the awkwardness, then gradually try to just talk to the camera like your talking to your friends explaining what you are doing or how your day went, I love my vlogs and I love watching other people's vlogs, it's like a special connection between the viewer and the vlogger, I totally recommend doing it.

After a week of getting frustrated trying to create content for the first time, this was SO helpful. Thank-you Peter.
