  • "...and that needs to stop teasing me." 😂 I love it when you have some fun like that. Also love that you show what's not done well in addition to your successes. It's encouraging to us more basic gardeners when things go wrong in our own plots!
  • It was such a revelation to find that the flower shoots of any brassica are delicious! Cabbage, kale, broccoli, mustard, I love them all.
  • @TheZippyMark
Yeah that herb's getting a bit caraway with itself.
  • Can’t believe that out of over 8,000 views only 703 viewers liked this video 🤷‍♀️🤔 Huw always gives us such good advice 👏👏🇬🇧
  • @melstark3466
Jealous! We still have so much rain right now that it’s hard to get anything in the ground right now. Oregon is just wet. Thanks for a great vid😊
  • @innerstream
Huw sometime could you do a video on caring for garden tools? How to sharpen them , clean them prep them for summer, etc?
  • Thank you. Such practical and useful advice. I have dear friends in Dinas Cross who I’m lucky enough to visit yearly. Such magnificent landscapes! Bought a few of your books and use them frequently.
  • It’s such a beautiful garden even when there’s not too much growing. Looks so peaceful! So excited to see the grape vine come to life!
  • Love the music! Always enjoy your videos.
  • @chelleb3055
It's such a well laid out garden and that weather is certainly nice! I woke to fresh snow over here by Yellowstone. 😄
  • Wow, I watch for sheer beauty of your garden. And your own delight in the process. Lovely!
  • Everytime i watch i think how beautiful your garden is, it is such a pleasure to look at even via video, the surrounding green of the fields sets it off so well. Must be a lovely place to work Hugh even in the cold of winter
  • @babybalrog
That purple broccoli could be good to seed save from, it may be more cold hearty than usual.
  • Caraway is a hardy in zone 2b. In fact the county I live in considers it a noxious weed and sprays for it. (Jerks) I grow it in my garden.
  • @WynterDragon
I appreciate that your kale bed looks like mine. My husband wants to know more about the fan trained currant and the process for doing that.
  • @ctab4689
Whoa, what?! At 5:55 you say this is your last full season in this garden. Moving? Spending more energy at the other garden? This garden is more the size and varieties of the home garden, and I love this scale.
  • @veedebee
Please could you do a comparison of all the undercover growing options you have, which is your favourite and which is the most useful/practical in a garden? Thanks for the great content x
  • I have a very small garden here in the USA. This year feels special. I can feel and see such potential in my small space. So much growing, and ya know, I forgot to start kale. Well, I'm not done for sure..lol
  • @emilybh6255
Wow! It is hard to imagine plants liking soil temperatures as warm as 32 degrees C. That is 90F! It seems it would be bordering on too hot.
