I just LOVE the effect Peeta has on Katniss. Katniss being stubborn and won t do as Shes told. Peeta asks her. She saids okay. Katniss saying she will never have kids. Has not one but two kids with peeta. Lol Peeta made everything feel okay and safe for Katniss. And thats why I love their relationship ❤

I love that Suzzane Collins made Peeta the main lead , especially since I was a wattpad girl during that time where most of the stories had the 'bad boys' as the lead and the kind ones were boring !! As a 14 year old girl reading the books for the first time.. it really gave me high expectations of what i wanted in a partner..that being good and kind in a cruel world is not boring or a weakness , but in fact a superpower.. As the kids say these days he's been a green flag since day 1 ( I'm 25 now lol)

something i always think about is how Haymitch told Katniss she didn´t deserve Peeta, but in my opinion she really DID deserve him. She went trough so much trauma even before the games and even tho she had Gale, he could never comfort her the way Peeta did. Katniss didn´t think Peeta was weak like everyone else did, she always thought he was strong in his own way and she says multiple times how she would rather die than lose him. SHE LOVED HIM.

1:46 this scene tugs at my fucking heart every god damn time. The way she screams is just heartbreaking and him running in so quickly is even more heart breaking in a strangely heart warming way, also the fact he literally ran in there so quick probably meant that he'd already been awake bc of his own nightmares :/
