This is my favorite movie of all time. I saw it for the first time when I was 16. Since then I have seen it over 100 times. I never get tired of watching it. I've even got the soundtrack in an album. RIP Jill Kinmont Boothe. 🎿🎿👋🦋🙏🌹

1981 , I did what I never wanted to do! I was in bed unable to walk ( with excruciating pain and hopelessness) and I watched TV! This is what I saw and haven’t seen since then but I’ve always remembered this account which I somewhat related to ! The presentation was very moving! Thanks !!!

I saw this when I was about ten. I always remembered the title, her name, what happened to her, and her becoming a teacher on an ‘Indian Reservation’. I could never find it, until now. Thank you for posting this.

I had a blesseed and busy studio singing career for 6 decades. One day while waiting outside a recording studio to go in, i came across and recognized William Bryant who portrayed Jill Kinmont s father in the movie. We talked about it and he said it was an enjoyable shoot for him and very moving. The scene near the end when he’s on the phone learning of Mad Dog’s death is such a heartbreaker!

I saw this movie when I was teenager. A skiing teenager. I loved it then. I just skipped to a few memorable places in the story and cried just as hard now. This was not a terrible movie and not a terrible story as described earlier. I will watch part I and II again (40 years later) and I know I'll love it just as much.

Thank you for posting. I remember watching this movie as a child and admired so very much Jill Kinmont's strength through adversity. So tragic that she lost her love Dick Bueck but found love again later.
