North Korean leader Kim Jong Un watched the parade with veterans of the Korean War, state media KCNA reported.
During the anniversary event in Pyongyang, senior military officials made the comments “out of surging hatred” towards the US and South Korea. North Korean military officials also accused the US and South Korea of “being hellbent on provoking a nuclear war.” Pyongyang’s officials vowed to strengthen war efficiency to stage an “overwhelming attack on the enemy anytime and without delay”. They added that the attack would “totally destroy them once the respected supreme commander Kim Jong-un gives an order.”
