I met Linda Hamilton in a store on Rodeo Drive in Hollywood in the early 90s...we were in the dressing room trying on clothes (the store was so "hip" and "cool" that they didn't bother with private dressing rooms, you just went into an alcove with some potted plants and showed everyone what you got...), I guess she was afraid I thought she was fat (it was during the big terminator movies too I think), and told me she was pregnant...I congratulated her and she told me she was a twin and hoped she would have twins. I think she was married to James Cameron at the time. We tried on some 600.00 dollar pairs of jeans and I booked it out of there, since paying anything over twenty for jeans was, to me, completely ridiculous....I always wondered if she did have twins...like every movie star, she seemed very shy and uncomfortable when out on her own. There was an unspoken law on Rodeo drive that you did NOT bother actors, but there were also a million tourists from all over the world who gawked and harrassed and questioned everyone they even SUSPECTED was a celebrity. My husband looked a lot Keifer Sutherland, and was constantly stopped by people wherever we went, and women would hand him their number right in front of me! That is only funny once, then it's really aggravating...
