Minors should not be allowed to use social media.

Children shouldn't be online without parental supervision. Nore should they have cellphones.

Its hard for me to take these hearings seriously when these people own stock in these companies.

Closed my Facebook down 6 years ago it was one of THE best thing I ever did-get kids OFF this child trafficking cesspool before tragedy strikes your family!
  • @johnross5540
this is not about protecting children its about control, they dont want you to be anonymous online
  • I’m into this, good stuff. Good to see something moving in the right direction.

What scares me the most is when I go into a petstore in Canada and buy a cheese stick for my dog, 3 days later I have an ad on Facebook for dog cheese sticks, makes me want to shut off my phone forever.

How many young kids do you see in stores, restraunts, play grounds, etc sitting with a tablet or phone in hand and no one monitoring them? Too many parents resort to the glass teat to teach and entertain their kids rather than themselves. Its a parental responsibility first......

  • These tech companies had dead silence when asked if they support the bill. That was pretty alarming

The smiles on their faces as they reject the acts with their corporate lingo makes me realize these people really don’t give a damn

Facebook allows all kinds of trash to be posted, they don't care! But the blame is on the parents who are more interested in being the cool parent instead of watching what their kids are watching.

On Facebook, trolls and bullyers insult and threat they never get consequences. But victims defending themselves are always banned or sent to court.

The most important way to navigate through complicated legislation is the fact that anything For The Children is a trap. Don't allow it.
