Who’s here because they’ve been binge watching hundreds of Rush/Neil Peart videos the past few days??

Man, Neil was the best. Such a nice, funny, smart dude. Already miss him so much. R.I.P.

"On to happier subjects", Neil says. The interviewer pressed the dark times too much. They are all very patient and show such class. RUSH will always be my favorite band.

"Drumming with this band is like running a marathon while solving equations at the same time." - Neil Peart

RIP Neil Peart - an incredibly talented, intelligent, and well-spoken man who inspired millions. He will be forever missed.

They laugh, they make jokes, they respect each other, they help each other, they like what they do, they have families. Nothing more is necessary. Greatest band of all times.

The best quote from this interview "Three hours of drumming with this band is like running a marathon and solving equations at the same time".

Neil Peart's voice is like he's always narrating an E-book to you.

Neil: "What you love trumps what you hate. That's all I'm gonna say about that." Translation: END OF DISCUSSION

By far, some of the finest men to ever take a stage musically. The only aspect that exceeds them musically is their humility... even as arguably the best at their craft. Rest in Peace Neil... you are loved, forever.
  • These guys are so cool, humble and so amazing. I have always admired their chemistry. When you can sense a band are like brothers it only influences the music and spirit even more. God Bless Rush and we will miss you Neil!

The greatest collection of musicians in one band. Each one a virtuoso with respect and admiration for each other's talents.
  • it was kind of annoying that the interviewer couldn't drop the dark times questions. Good on Neil for so gracefully pushing the conversation forward

I first saw them 39 years ago. It was a transcendent experience. Respect. Respect.

It still amazes me that there's only 3 guys in RUSH, and such great music! One of the BEST, in my opinion.

How ironic that the interviewer asked if they could picture themselves "doing this in ten years." The Neil answers and says, "You can't know a thing like this because of physical limitations, time is time." Who would have imagined that almost exactly ten years later Neil would be gone.

Rush are people that most of us would love to have has as friends.

John Roberts is Canadian and started as a music reporter called JD Roberts on City TV’s THE NEW MUSIC. He also plays guitar. His history with the Toronto music scene (and subsequently, Rush) goes back to the mid 70’s. This is why he was given such great access to a band that normally is press-shy. Especially Neil. Great job.
