WE ARE CALLED TO HOLINESS NOT BY OUR RELIGION, BUT BY OUR HUMANITY Thomas Keating
  • The most honest advertising l ever saw was on an old glass milk bottle. It said, " good as any, better than some".

"All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth." Friedrich Nietzsche God help us all 🙏

I don't mean to be a pedant but Dr. Kreeft's last name is pronounced "Crayft". The double "e" is pronounced liked a hard "a". Yes, Dr. Kreeft is a national treasure.

This has to be one of the most substantive commencement speeches ever. And brilliant.

I was to listen to this the third time, then i remembered that you said from the beginning that we should listen over and over again . It sounded outlandish I almost clicked away but listening to it the first time. However when I heard the first time it was inevitable for me to listen again and again. It is truth satirized, thanks for sharing.

The comical commencement speech with no ending .. loved it…Remembering the human world was saved…never lost…given every fruit in the garden … liar liar said the freedom of “ civilisation “ will save you.. correct !! the creative world your new identity, escapism.. behold I make you new 🙀😂
  • I had listed to this commencement by Dr Kreeft a while back. It is brilliant! Thanks for bringing it back around again. Your comments at the end are very enriching. Our very nature, in our DNA so to speak as image bearers of our Creator, is to walk and talk with our Lord in freedom to choose to do so. Satan, the father of lies, will destroy our relationship and our very lives to deny God’s glory in us. God does not want any to perish, so He perished for us in Christ Jesus. Faith is the victory!

Perhaps this monologue should have been entitled “A Lighthearted and Witty Apology for Christianity that Totally Overlooks all the Lies and Absurdities that Christianity itself has Perpetrated”
