A cure for being made of spiders? What kind of cure did she have in mind?

“Let’s see who’s under the mask!” Unholy mass of spiders* “Let’s put that back on.”
  • Spiders-man Spiders-man, does whatever spiders can. Sits in webs and waits a lot. Spiders-man.

Welcome to another episode of “How bad can we make Peter suffer”
  • The saddest thing here is that the Peter from the main universe would have gladly taken the place of this disturbing version of him in order to live in a reality in which he saved Gwen in the end. Poor Pete 😔
  • Damn, if the Black Cat from the main universe was totally disgusted once she knew that the hero she loved so much was a nerd, imagine the reaction of the one from this reality when she discovers that her beloved Spidey is actually an accumulation of thousands of creepy spiders...
  • I can't blame Peter for deciding to leave Gwen. Considering he's just a bunch of spiders, the most intimate part of his relationship with her would have been...weird...

"Fell into a pit of radioactive spiders" is the most hilarious and comic bookish super hero origin ive ever heard of
  • @neonthehuman
He lost his humanity, while still being more human than anybody out there.

First we got Man-Spider and that's semi-cursed, now this. Imagine how more cursed Mans-spider will be.
  • A monster would never sacrifice itself for someone. His body might no longer be human but his heart definitely is.
  • This Spider man is like Swarm, In marvel he was one of Hitler's top scientists who also got bonded with mutated bee's and nothing of his body left but his skeleton and his consciousness that got bonded with bees, and operated just like Spiders man. And also in Earth-616, one of Peter's high school bully Carl king, who witnessed Peter getting bit by Radioactive spider and got powers, he wanted to get powers too so he ate that spider but got the different effect and turned into swarm of Spiders, then he ate his mother from inside out and took her body as a vessel and then ate his father and girlfriend in order to stay stable in his new form. Truly was one of the gruesome characters ever created...

Wait the Spiders absorbed his consciouseness. That means the original Peter Parker is dead but his consciousness "his soul" is now in the mass of spiders. Now the spiders having his consciousness, they have all his memories, emotions, feelings and desires. And one of that desire is the desire to become human. So despite technically never being human in the first place, the spiders think as if they are Peter but in reality it's just his soul living within their interconnected hive mind. This is why I love fiction especially comics, movies and novels. They give such interesting concepts especially within the science fiction genre. There's also a philosophical element which makes it even more captivating. It makes you think, if Peter died but his soul lives on within this mass of spiders, is it still really Peter. He has an exact copy of the original Peter's personality and his friends and family like Gwen still considers him as "Peter". But is it really Peter, or does it even matter to ask that question. As long as his soul lives within this new being, Peter still lives on until the heartbreaking end where he sacrifices himself for the good of others. This new being still did what the original Peter would have done. Peter has always been selfless, and he always would have prioritized the wellbeing of others before himself. In the end, this being sacrificed itself, something the original Peter would have done as well.

Killing him was the right thing. He lives i despair knowing he's a bunch of spiders and already shunned himself gwen away, making him survive would mean more pain as long he's alive and cant morally kill himself
