Retired for many moons, can't believe this is happening! In our old days, we don't rush for upgrades, OS updates, we used to wait for weeks or even months, depend on the the services'. Also doing pilot machine first, stress test then graduate the process.

The problem is "CrowdStrike" , not Microsoft. Only those associated with "CrowdStrike" are affected.

My bank was closed, their computers were affected, but the ATM worked just fine, and point of sale worked in my local shops. I live in small town Ontario.

i don't understand how a security program outage caused traffic on a bridge. Am I the only one not able to connect the dots between the cause and effect? is the bridge running with software? Does it go up and down to let boats through?
