This is by far the easiest way I’ve found! Thank you!The best advise I can give is to not have the braid too tight because you are continually making it tighter the more wraps you put on to it.

I learned the fg knot last summer fast forward to this spring I’m about to re tie all my rods so I wanted a refresher but man that tip about tying the line to the reel handle is so money I will be using that every time 🔥

The best method for a fg knot.. I’ve always struggled with holding the braid in my teeth, this way is much much easier, I’ve never thought about it. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip G-man. I love the FG for all the reasons you mentioned Tying the main line to the reel handle is a great idea. I’ll have to get my rods out and start practicing again. I agree that the more you practice, the faster you get. It takes longer but I have more confidence in this knot than any other I’ve tried.
