  • "Went for a little 32 mile run on Friday" Cam Hanes is the only guy on Earth who can say that and me not question it once.

Your camera man and whoever put the video together did an incredible job.

7:20 “no he’s not big enough, I don’t think he’s old” I respect that sir,

Brother, I've been listening to you and Joe on his podcast the last couple of days and I'm more than inspired!! I'll be 43 this year and have battled addiction on all levels. I'm also a felon so rifle hunting is out of the picture. I picked up a PSE stinger X five years ago and was hooked. I've drawn tags here in Wyoming but have never gone. I got lost in my addiction about 4 years ago and lost everything again... Bow included, but I recently surpassed 3 years of sobriety and have also quit smoking 4 months ago. I've started to build a gym in my garage and workout with my son... I want to live a healthier lifestyle and want to be able to trek up the mountain and be able to pack an elk out if I'm lucky enough to fill a tag. I won't be in shape for it this year, and I won't have my bow out of layaway until later this year, but next September I'm hammering the Bighorns. You've been a major inspiration and I want to thank you!!! I'm going to be spending the next year conditioning for the hunt. Man, thank you and Joe Rogan for the inspiration!!! The fire has been lit under my ass!!! Much appreciated!!!

This was made like a 9.8/10 rated Netflix documentary .... What a beautiful elk and whoever the camera man was, he was epic..
  • @chadherdic5048
Arrow was buried in at 50 then that 2nd shot from 70 was insane. Unbelievable. Well done sir

I'm a hunter from the UK and I never really understood the bow hunting ethics, I shoot centre fire rifle and hunt deer in woodland and open moorland. But watching this video and seeing the one with nature, the appreciation for the animal and wildlife and most of all the skill and professionalism you showed has changed my mind. Hunting is hunting and having respect for the environment and animals is what it's all about. Congratulations on the bull of a lifetime. That's meat well earned.

Probably one of the greatest hunts ever recorded. I've watched this so many times already.

"Little" 32 mile run. Lol Cam Hanes is a psycho.
  • "When I grow up, I want to be like Cam Hanes", said the 32 year old, out of shape Filipino man. But seriously though, Cam and his work ethic is inspiring.
  • "Merciful kill" I love that phrase. You waited, got close and even took a second shot within seconds. Too many videos on YouTube expose hunters as narcissists. I have seen hunters shoot at the stomach. Shoot at an oblique angle. Shoot at over a hundred yards. Lay back and take their time while the animal slowly bled.

Theres something about watching someone do what they truly love. Awesome bull Cam!
  • @raytinsman2672
"Everything in the wild dies hard" is so right, hunting probably the easy way for an animal to die. This guy is my hero!
  • Cam when you let arrow go it flies true. That shot was absolutely incredible and that follow up was even better. congrats on that bull, would be honored to even walk the same mountain you have one day. Absolutely incredible.
  • @andrealipate
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this Cam. But it never gets tired. Incredible Bull, incredible archery and incredibly captured on camera.
  • @WhitetailFit
Best shot I have ever seen taken on am animal. Also, best follow up shot I have ever seen taken on an animal. Cameron, your hard work pays off. Congratulations and thank you for representing hunters the way you do.
  • @vegasxventures
Okay YouTube, I’ll finally watch this for the third time.
  • @taj5062
It's inspiring to see him with so much passion and pride in what he does.
  • @calineman
Cam and Goggins are my biggest inspirations. Ran my first trail marathon last year because of these guys. Hiking in elk country is so much easier being a trail runner all year long.
