You could tell Brad Pitt was so nervous. This meant a lot to him. ❤
  • I'm glad Brad got this ovation. He's a great movie star and a great actor.

Brad wasn't expecting the ovation - then 4 jokes in until the crowd eases and laughs. The jokes continue and language gets in the way. He needs a water. He pushes through it and shows the vulnerability that makes Him one of the greatest actors of a generation. Brad is an icon and an inspiration on and off the screen. He's what a Man should be. Kind, Graceful and Funny. Grateful to have witnessed this tonight.
  • Fincher and Pitt have terrific chemistry together and produce great work together .

Brad Pitt trying his hardest to be funny, but the crowd is too in awe of Him being here at this show

Pitt likes Finsher a lot. So he wanted to say a beautiful speech, therefore he read a written one, he didn’t improvise. And the emotions came in the way of his reading. These things happen. It’s ok. There are worse things in a lifetime. We still like him for his sincerity in his work.
  • My guy Brad looks better than he’s looked in years! ❤️ What a great human. Feel bad for his honorable efforts to pay tribute to his beloved director falling short through no fault of his own. 😞
  • Brad Pitt and audience were both nervous. The audience were in shock seeing such a great actor showing up and they just wanted to look at him and live the moment without caring much about what he meant and the jokes he was making. On the other hand this was not something Brad was expecting because as a natural human we all expect some engagement and laughter when we crack jokes. Still, Brad's skills safely got him out and the audience seem pleased too. Happy ending :)
  • Brad Pitt did a wonderful. He shows that he is human with feelings. Love you Brad ❤💋

Poor guy is suppressing some serious stage fright. You know it’s bad when you start to sound like you have dentures in because your mouth gets so dry. Having a nightmare in a £25k suit. Makes him all the more likeable but that’s stage fright/skirting near a panic attack and I really feel for him!

Listen…I’m a straight black male, but even I can't stare at the man's face for more than a minute before I start wondering “how the hell can one man be so damn good looking?”
  • Mr. Fincher, my favourite director, deserves all the praise. And is great that Brad Pitt gives him this award 🥹 ❤

Yeah it doesn’t look like brad expected that standing ovation. Bless his heart so nervous but sincere. His life is one roller coaster but he always picks himself up and as he said I think he knows how to surround himself with good people.

They need to do another film together.

Love Brad Pitt and the audience were just in awe of him! But he was extremely nervous and it showed, the way he delivered the jokes, his voice, but that’s okay Brad we love you! ❤
