Tyler and his “on point” wine pronunciation gets me every time!
  • The yellow is probably from the mustard! Your main washer fills with more water than the portable one. It's kinda like adding a couple of drops of food coloring to a water bottle vs a bucket 😉

I have one of these washing machines for my RV. I love it! You used way too much soap. For that size load, use only about 2 TBL soap. The machine will actually hold quite a bit of dirty clothes. I've even washed sheets in mine. It's definitely a winner for small space living.
  • One of my friends years ago lived in an apartment and didn’t want to go to the basement laundry so she bought a machine like this so she could do her laundry in her unit. It worked amazing. Fast forward several years and now she lives in a house with her husband and two kids. Now she uses it for washing the kids clothes and still going like a champ. Yours has a defect with the spinner

Used one of these for over 2 years now to wash small loads in between the laundry mat, recently got a larger portable washer (is probably 3 times as tall as that and easily twice as wide) and a portable dryer that runs off 120v and drys just as fast as the laundry mats dryers, for my small apartment its perfect and easily has saved me several hundred a year. That one is definitely defective on the spin dry. And yes, you did add WAAAY to much detergent..lol

This was very interesting actually. The fact the portable performed better getting those two different wine stains out is crazy.

as you're pouring the soap in i'm saying to my screen "no no no, you're using way too much soap"

I have had mine about 6 months and I'm loving it! As you noticed the machine does some serious shaking, especially when its in spin dry mode. What I do is leave the water in the washer side, remove the clothes and hand rinse them in the sink before dropping them in the in the spin side. The water in the wash tub helps act as ballast to steady the machine. You can also wash a second load while the machine is spin-drying your first load of clothes. I am very happy with my machine! Thank you for sharing your experience here!

Literally every video: “see you in 2 hours” .... “Alright, although I told you it’s going to be 2 hours.... it has been like 3 years” Love it!

As someone who lives in an apartment with no on site laundry, I'm kinda really interested in that thing. I don't get crazy shit on my clothes so I'm sure it would wash regularly worn clothes just fine.

I’m starting to think Tyler’s washer has problems 🤔

Soap and pretreatment will give anyone better results... even when you “hand wash” things. I’ve owned portable machine for years! As long as I pretreat, soak, and then run, I always get great results. Water quality matters too. If you have hard water or high iron/manganese levels you are gonna get a yellowish hue. This is why some soaps are tinted blue to counteract the yellow. There are other reasons it’s blue, but it’s one of the reasons. Thanks for doing this video! Save $$$, and portable is awesome for no site laundry or even a garage unit for “super dirties”/rags.

As someone who lives in a 7 ft storage unit beside a gas station, I can tell u this is amazing!!!! I wash my clothes in a bucket with my bare hands. I couldn't imagine having this jewel!!! Wow
  • @SICresinwrks
Well we learned one thing, Tyler doesn't drink wine 🤣🤣🤣
  • I’m actually using mine right now! I live on third floor apartment with 20units and 2 washers/dryers. Saves me time and money...not to mention back pain from stairs! (back injury from car accident) Sometimes the dryers downstairs dont even work! Just use it in my bathtub, and hang dry for a few days
  • They are convenient when you live in an apartment where you don't have access to a washer/dryer. You see these a lot in university dorm rooms. Pretty useful.
