Jane was so kind to Chevy Chase... very consciously honest. "I dont know what's behind it", is probably the most sweet eloquent - and tragic - thing I've heard for a while.
  • Wow! She was very classy and diplomatic in her answers. I loved her on 3rd Rock from the Sun.
  • @cherylb2008
She is so articulate and intelligent. So forthcoming and generous. I would love to hear more of her memories
  • I don’t understand why I don’t see her in more stuff. She was fantastic on Third Rock and SNL

Oh what a simply divine woman! That's the way to answer questions - from the heart and with total candour, but always still respectful. One classy dame!

Jane Curtin has always been a class act. Smart, funny as hell, deadpan delivery, and a good actress, too. Enjoyed this segment, wish it'd been longer.

Oh I like her.... she seems super cool

Love her. She did great. She was composed, articulate and straightforward. It's crazy how a lot of regressive shit has been so normalized for the longest time.

I love this woman. I’ve watched everything she’s been in since I was a kid starting with SNL. I’ve always wanted to have a cup of coffee or whatever with her and have a conversation. Tell her how incredibly hilarious she really is. She’s severely underrated IMO.

simple, measured and funny despite the hyper-gossipy format. 3 cheers for the lovely Jane Curtin

LOL. Imagine having your friend be like "I'm coming over to watch you live" 😂😂😂 like wtf!
  • @RollingOrmond
I went to a taping of her sitcom Kate & Alley in NY in the '80s. Fascinating experience.
  • Her timing when she speaks, she’s so smart and witty and honest and funny. I hope to see more of her!❤

Jane Curtain is giving credibility to all the women who tried to get into comedy only to be blocked. Even now I know people who will not go to a movie fronted by a female comedian because they don't believe a female is funny enough to carry a film. For every one of us who loves Bridesmaids, there are two insisting it wasn't funny. I know Joan Rivers had such a difficult time because no one wanted to see women as "funny". Carson both helped and hindered her, but she stuck with it. I don't get it - I find both genders hilarious when they find their niche.
