I saw The Beatles in 1964 when I was 12 years old and again in 1965 (2 nights) at the Bowl. Many more concerts - rock 'n' roll and classical followed. A truly magical place!

The Hollywood Bowl….so iconic. The summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic…..cool nights, amazing setting.
  • John Holiday sounds amazing singing Summertime. I had the privilege of being present during Dudamels tribute to Gershwin. John Holiday sang every classic fabulously!
  • On a cool summer night in 1998, I got on my vintage Vespa scooter riding from Malibu down PCH, turning left on Sunset and meandering through to the Hollywood Bowl with $5 tickets in hand, relaxing on a bench in the upper tiers with wine and snacks and a cozy blanket. We were the first ever audience to experience Brian Wilson performing “Pet Sounds” in its entirety. Good vibrations and goose bumps….it was one of the most perfect nights of my life…🙏🏽

I had the privilege to go to the Hollywood Bowl when I was in LA in the 1980s. Loved it

Big shoutout to my husband John Holiday for performing those Gershwin classics with Josh Dudamel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I saw Dolly Parton my idol there and it was incredible!!! So blessed!
  • I grew up nearby. Classical music under the stars on a beautiful California evening with my first girlfriend.

I was fortunate enough to rent an air bnb literally down the street from the Hollywood Bowl in 2019; you could hear the shows playing. Still a dream to actually attend the venue.
  • Love attending the bowl! From Neil Diamond, Peter Paul & Mary and even Dave Brubeck! Cheap seats or box seats picnics with friends under the stars and amazing music together is joyful!

Hooray for the Hollywood Bowl on its 100 years. I had a great opportunity to work there in 2019 and it was blast! Sure miss working there
  • Congratulations 👏🎉 to the Hollywood Bowl. 100 years and still Growing up in Age over again.
  • My first of many shows when I moved to LA was Natalie Cole at the Bowl. Had the pleasure of seeing John Williams conduct there several times. Wonderful venue, magical ... nothing like it! Long may it continue!

I saw Micheal Hutchence / INXS at the Hollywood Bowl back in the 80's. They were just on the rise and a popular band at that point. We drove to the bowl, parked the car and walked towards the seating area. (( wow )) kind of a weird moment that took us ALL by surprise. There was hardly any one there. Great for us; we were able to have seats towards the front row section. The concert was on a week night; which factored into less tickets being sold. INXS was GOOD that night. And ... no lines at the bathrooms.
